Your car a/c may not be respiration friendly

Your vehicle’s AC may not be respiration friendly. Here’s why.

As you drive, dirty roadway air is taken inside your vehicle and is placed under pressure by your A/C’s blower. The outside ambient temperature air is passed through your A/C’s evaporator coil where it is cooled. Cool air continues on through your vehicle’s air ducts, entering the cabin through your dashboard and console.

Over time dust, dirt and pathogenic particles are drawn into your A/C system and stubbornly affix themselves to our evaporator’s coil and cooling fins. This obstructs airflow and creates a breeding ground for mold, mildew, and other bacteria. You’ll notice this when your cabin air takes on “that musty smell”.
